Default Need an Xcel Formula asap

hey all. what i need is a formula to work out percentages to be writen into an excel spread sheet, got me stuffed how to work it out. basically all the info i can give is-
c2=12 (total)
d2=2 (added on)
e2=10 (original)
f2=20% (this is what i need, f2 is the percentage that is added onto e2 to get the total that is c2. i know all the other figures, just need a formula to work out the percentage though)

Thumbs up

try this in F2 =SUM(D2/E2) then enter. answer given will be 20. but if you go to format in the toolbar and format cell, under the number tab, click percentage, change decimal places to zero and you should have the answer of 20% in F2
Also if you know about the autosum button in the toolbar you can simply select the cell you want the answer in and then use the + - / * buttons to add cells to the equation i.e Click cell F2 then left click auto sum then left click D2, press / then left click E2 then press enter. the autosum button looks like a greek symbol.
Oh Yeah i dont mean to insult your intelligence. just making sure you can do it the easy way
