Finally got my borg warner overdrive bolted up wired & working
works great drops rpms @60mph from 3100 to around 2400 should save some fuel on the long trips ( I hope)
my question is any one out there using one of these or used one ??
shifts in & out of overdrive no worries with the electric solenoid ,but when you disengage the over run clutch (cable operated) at speed the overdrive "complains " abit just slight grinding sound for a second or so ,I'm assuming its just the drive dogs on the planetry hub trying to "sycronise".
Is there a correct procedure / instructions for operating these overdrives??
