Default What are Yahoo slurp spiders??

When you view who is logged on what are "Yahoo slurp spiders" and the various other types of spiders. Why aren't they "guests" anymore?

They are essentially search engine spiders. These little bots feed data, they to go around to websites gathering information and that information is what makes up the data base of a search engine like google, msn or yahoo.
So you get accurate results when you search for stuff.

But their are way to many of them!
