The one you descibe is Blaster, he was basicly the autobot conterpart to Soundwave, turned into an 80's ghetto blaster. The cassette was steeljaw.
I just saw the movie on Thursday night, will definately be watching it again, lots of awsome car chases and giant robots and awsome fights.
GM sponsored the movie so the Autobots are made up of a GM Topkick , Hummer, Chevy Camaro and Pontiac Solstice. Of course Optimus is a truck, just not the Cab over design anymore.
Most of the Decepticons are military, except Barricade who is a Saleen Mustang and Megatron is still in his Cybertronian form.
...Yes I am a fan, but even if you're not, this movie kicks 5 different kinds of ass.
