Yep my '96 XJ has duel fuel and very happy with it, got 67 litres useable and get around 350k to a tank.
Cant tell the difference in power between petrol and lPG, unlike on my 'ol Landcruiser.

My '95 XJ had been converted to dual fuel before I bought it a few months back. I was very happy with it - as you say there's not much difference when you switch from petrol to gas.

My tank has about 60 usable litres and when I got bought the Jeep it had a range on gas of a tad over 300km - not bad on $30 worth of gas. But - here's my problem. The gas consumptio has been steadily getting worse. Now my range is just over 200km on a tank of LPG. Do I need a "tune-up"? Are there any reliable LPG experts in Brisbane - preferably on the inner southside???.
