Update CAD....Long range tank from 4wd Systems in SA for $580. So shipping will bring it to around 700. $1700 for 175L fuel capacity isn't bad. And I would prefer to have two seperate tanks so if you whole one tank all the fuel doesn't drain into the sand and you can still get home, or almost anyway. Definately on my to do list after....

Headlight upgrade (almost finished)
Bullbar (almost there)
Lights (almst there)
Rear wheel carrier (in design stage)
Exhaust
Intercooler
Front bearings
shocks
two more inches
lockers
air storage for lockers.
Roofracks
ohhh...and I saw a new post tonight, cargo barrier (still thinking about that one)

Why is it when I knock one off the list another two are added?

Just search ebay for Jeep XJ Fuel tank and you'll find it there.

I had the same one on my 96 XJ and transferred it to my 01. Fiddled with the sender units to swap them over but it worked out fine - and my fuel guage is still accurate.
