Default Questions from a foreigner...

Hello to all! I was wondering if you have tough lift laws where you live? I have several Jeep projects and where I live in Colorado, I only have to meet the minimum safety laws in order to get a vehicle a set of license plates. The laws here are few and as long as you have the basics like seat belts, lights, a windshield, etc. the cops do not bother you. I've driven with buggies that are running 42" tires and have no fenders or flares, which led me to ask what you guys have to deal with. You can check out some pictures I've posted Check out my pictures in my post in the OS section here!

Cheers!

What time is the next flight to Colorado?

Try 2" body, 2" suspension and 100% legally no more than 15mm (1/2") over stock tyre size!!!!!!!!

Although it's only illegal if you get caught right?

Bah! I am a mid level officer in the local jail. I'm a glorified baby sitter, and could care less about vehicle codes as I am an avide wheeler. Right now I have my '97 TJ, an engineless '91 YJ (hoping for a Chevy 350 swap engine), a '89 2 door Cherokee parts vehicle (no title), a '63 CJ5 frame with a Buick V6, a '46 CJ2A tub and title (to go on the CJ5 frame), and a '78 Waggy parts rig (no title, got it for the Dana 44 axles). I have a buddy that has a '41 GPW (rust bucket but solid frame & drive train) and a '46 CJ2A he wants to sell me for a couple hundred $$. I know the warden (my spouse) would kick my ass if I drug home anymore non-running Jeeps, but I can't help myself! So, believe me when I say I am not interested in busting people for their modifications!
