With the gas tank behind the back seat the system is cheaper. cost me $2700 in victoria (after the $2000 grant, it cost my $700). You can get the gas tank put under the car, but they have to put a smaller fuel tank in to fit the gas tank (dont know the price).

mine was about $700 fitted too, it's a brown davis and is 45 litres capacity.
Apparently had to remove front passenger seat to get it in and muck around with the fuel sender etc.... hence the cost I guess
What is the going price for a conversion in Victoria for the gas tank to be under the car and feul tank reduced in size? I rang a couple of local places and they said it'd cost me $4500 to get it done... Just wondering whether there was any other places around Vic (melbourne area) that do it at a cheaper price but isn't going to explode.
Yes, there is I am getting mine done for $1300. This mob knows how to deal with JEEPS. In fact they pride themselves on working with Jeeps. Except, I dang forgot their number. Give me till tomorrow. I will let you know.

I got mine done at AG Auto gas conersions at the start of this year, in Lilydale victoria. The gas system was not a kit, thats why the gas tank is behind the back seat. Im very happy with it. plannig to put a second tank in and a false floor.
