I only keep my cars for about 5 years.

If DC charged only $1000 more for the Diesel like they do in USA, then it would be worth it. But they ripping us off in Australia, with the diesel, its not worth $4000 + 15 cents extra per ltr of diesel fuel
I did the same over here in NZ and the pay back would be 4-6 years. I also don't trust any Italian built engine after owning the 2.5 diesel.

I do not know why you guys are so paranoid about fuel consumption.

Try lifting the filler gun from the station a little out of the hole then. I had the exact same problems on my Patrol '95 on most stations. Lifting the gun just an inch helped me out, filled it up in normal time again. And that vehicle has a 95ltr fuel tank.

My 03 cherokee has the same "problem", the fuel gun clicks and stops fueling if I stick the gun properly into the gun hole on the car.

I'm not a native english speaking person, bear with my use of words
