i work in I.T - when someones computer goes down - the world is over.

We had a client tell us, that becuase their computer didnt work (ie... they couldnt print) they lost $15 million dollars in 3 days... load of shit.

I have been threatened with my legs being broken and the whole lot.

People somehow dont understand that they aren't our only customer - just like them - there is more than 1 person asking for things to be done.

The ones that rant and rave - i normally delay them as much as possible

In general - customers suck.

According to BASHOdi if you don't enjoy that you need to get another job..

But seriously, providing a product or service that is appreciated can be rewarding, we don't have to be happy about the small percentage of -----s' who will ---- on your every effort to help them, due to their unrealistic expectations.

Unfortunately in todays retail climate with the major chains taking over the larger percentage of the market the customers expectation have become (and are increasingly becoming) alot higher. The shop staff are the ones in the firing line. Thats why i got out of retail. Apart from the hours i was sick and tired of the 1 in 5 customers that would complain about nothing. Just cause there holding the money they think they can treat people like sh*te.
Business to Business can have its challenges too but it is aot friendlier.

the best ever 'i pay your wages comment' came from a woman going in to centrelink to get her payment sorted.
She walked straight up to the desk, bypassing the very obvious line of about 6 people and put her papers down in front of the attendant. He told her she'd have to wait in line and her comment was "just f***** take them you little wimp, i'm paying your bloody wages"
nice one.... so who's really paying whose wages there?

Perhaps --to be happy-- it may be an option , Hey woody 313 I was going to make a comment about untoward out of context paraphrasing--but then I saw where you are from .

Ha,ha.
Yeah I know, just trying real hard not to swear (been in trouble here for it..), I dare not even say poop.

By the way, I was going to make a comment on your inappropriate spelling of the words 'psycologicaly' (its psychologically) and 'iether' (its either) but then I remembered where I was from.
