David - the MJOCers could be keen on joining you at least to put the billy on. Where is Janowen / Aratula? Is it a suitable area to head for after visiting Eumundi markets?
Bomber - Janowan Hills is southwest of Eumundi - it is 2 hours west of Brisbane and South of Toowoomba so a bit of a drive from Eumundi.
Closest place to Eumundi is Glasshouse Mountains but in this weather and without muddies and a guide I wouldn't recommend that place - awesome 4wd in dry weather with someone that knows the place but it will be weeks before it is passable for AT tyres.
I would head north to Noosa after Eumundi to check out the beach - I would imagine it would be an interesting site on Noosa Nth Shore at present.
