Black sticky stuff

This is sooo frustrating pay $50,000 for a car and this sticky stuff melts in our heat and goes everwhere.

They must make the jeeps really cheap because they are not built for our weather, this black stuff melts constantly from the front window, runs down the left side of the door, all over the softop.

Its gone that bad it has run into the seal of the left door and when you open the door, the door seal sticks to sticky stuff that has gone in the car and pulls the whole door seal off. The black crap has gone onto the rubber and I can't get it off

Any one have the same problem, can it be fixed and what stuff can get it off, I have tried glass cleaner which works, but don't know if that is good for the paint.

I had this also eventually it went away there is a TSB for it so you dealer can fix it otherwise others have used goo remover type products.

happened to me too, like Dave mine eventually stopped. I just used a tiny amount of metho to get it off and was fine
