No, not at all touchy, just cant understand misguided individuals who think they are being good to the planet but really in the same carbon emitting boat as the rest of us.

Funny how a lot of them seem to be in their 60's + and suddenly think they need to be good to the earth after driving non pollution equipped cars for 40 years.

Where do I get a copy of the analysis that was done showing the wrangler as the lowest environmental impact vehicle from build to recycle/dismantle and the prius (I think) as one of the worst due to (primarily) its batteries?

I could stick a copy of it under their wiper, but no doubt they would complain that i was destroying trees.

Then again, i really dont care..............I'm intent on burning my share of dead dinosaur juice before it all runs out.

Oh, sorry for the thread hijacking too.

Here's the link to the info. The Wrangler is 5th at US$0.709 per mile driven. The Prius at US$2.865 is just above industry average at US$2.986

what I would like to know is this:
why is it that these vehicles (Jap Shit) are so good why is it that I seem to spend so much time picking up their rubbish off the side of roads from where they toss it.(I live next to a highway)
I watched a Rice burner driver toss out a plastic garbage bag right in front of me (on the highway) got his number rang local cop who pulled him up in town. I picked up the bag and met the cop in town and handed it to him he fronted the driver with it and he denied it, so cop went through the bag and in amongst the shitty disposable nappies was an envelope with his name on it.Cop fined him on the spot $2,000.00 then did a vehicle inspection on his Rice Burner which put it off the road (canary), does not pay to try to bullshit our local copper.
This bloke was really pissed off at his missus for tossing it out when it had his name and address in it. Not might I say for tossing it out but for leaving details in the bag.
I shouted the Cop a coffee, while this dead s**t went to local garage to arrange to have the faults rectified and then on top of it all he had to fork out for a motel room for three nights as our small country town kind of shuts up shop on weekends (whole town benefitted)

I had to laugh when during our recent federal election I pulled up at a red light next to a car plastered with "vote Greens" stickers on the doors, I thought I'd get a dirty look but I got a wave and a smile from the two young hotties in the car ,made my day maybe they were closet jeep fans
