10. In LA if you like extreme rides you must go to Magic Mountain. Try the "De Javu", superman the ride and the upside down rollercoaster.
B4M, Holy crapola man - looks COOL !
the mrs2b has already said.."i'll watch u"
deja vu :
Plummet a 20-story freefall at 65 miles per hour
Dangle face-down as you climb a 90-degree tower
Race head-over-heels on a vertical loop
Rocket up a second 200-foot tower

Mitch, Glamis looks pretty damn good from google earth's perspective. Just youtubing some vids now too - plenty dirt and contours and kinda en route to vegas..
cheers cp for the POC tip. Their site looks pretty good - lots of shiny things and if they like aussies as much as the guys at jeap thrills in vancouver did I should be right
On a more touristy note a Q for our US cuzzins : are the following worth the effort in your opinions ? Any big 1's I missed ? As I've heard nothing but good stories from aussies who have seen them.
grand canyon
vegas
yellowstone
NYC
San fran
niagara
We were planning on going to see New Orleans (AR to FL) but after watching the Top Gear ep where it still looks pretty bad 12 mths later maybe not worth it ?
and the most important spectator q- baseball, football or dragway ? (or all?)
where and who ? For base+football i've been told b4 to go to see a college game as its cheaper and won't be soldout months in advance. true ? We prob don't want to spend a whole day at a game so $$ games would be a waste.
keep the good info coming, ta !
