I partially agree however I bought a puller and fork seperator and still couldnt get mine out. A search on the forum says these are tough buggers and most end up using the hammer either at the side of the tre or from the bolt. For more than an hour I progressed from speaking very nicely to smashing the thing. They are pretty cheap for a new one and I think mine was still factory so happy to replace. Some said use the puller as well as give it a hit with hammer. Hope your one of the lucky ones.

i got a pitman arm puller, gave it a squeeze, and nothing. left it on and gave it a squirt of RP7, had a coffee and a smoke, came back swore at it, took the puller off and gave the fork another go..3 medium blows and they both popped out.

one of the rubber boots has holes in it...so that will be replaced after the lift is installed.

Thanks for the advice/encouragement, appreciated.

the control arms are now the sticking point.. (new thread)
