It came into affect yes, but not from the Federal Government... This is the suppliers passing it on.

The government can't just make laws and say its in effect before it passes the house, senate or assent from the Queen.

Agree with you totally - Grog price increases are not due to legislation...yet, ( unless of course, you wish to include.....Transportation fuel costs, OH & S implementation, GST, Deregulation of Industry and any other relevant issues that cause additional costs to the customer. )

They are an act of greed - just the same as the rent and daycare price hikes which occur when family assistance increases are suggested or provided by government.

Well....I was in total agreeance until that enlightening post by Ben.
