Default Electric shavers

Folks,
I've just had surgery on my throat two weeks ago and I've finally had the bandages removed. I've just been trying to actually shave properly for the first time in two weeks along the cut line and it's a right pain. And it looks like in the future with the way the scar tissue is building up, it's going to be difficult shaving along that length (all the way across in a "necklace cut").
My question to anyone that actually uses them is this...

"What kind of electric shaver do you use and why do you like it?"

I've had one electric shaver my entire life and that was given to me by an uncle back in 1984. I used it once or twice and then stuck it in a drawer for it to never see the light of day again. What's new, what works and what doesn't work??

Electric Shavers are only useful if you're 13 and only shaving a few hairs - freaking things are useless - no matter how many times I've tried to get used to the phillishave the missus bought one year, I always ditch it in favour of the trusty shaving foam and razor.....

That's how the damn things were in 1984! I've got a great collection of safety razors and Mach 3's...But do I rely on Michael Clim's endorsement?

Jimmy, do you want to see my scar???
