Ditto. Don't feel obligated to justify your actions to anyone mate. No one knows all the in's and out's of your situation but YOU.
Plastering is good to lean on if you need it for cash jobs.

i hope people realise that i am one of jeepboys mates...(actual face to face mate.... not a forum buddy). i am not shooting him down. simply trying to make him aware of the costs involved in this....
no i dont have a baby.... but i tick all the other box's,
home owner........check
plant mechanic....check

by talking about costs and so on may help with budgeting... there may be things he has overlooked...

why have i choosen to do this on the forum instead of face to face you ask?

i'm far from perfect and don't know everything(now there's a quote) and by posting up my opinions and points of interest/food for thought it might just get some other people to think of aspects of the situation that my narrow mind hasn't thought about....

well i rang rail corp today to find out what was going on as it has been dragged out a bit and was told they are unable to offer me a job as recruitment goes of a merit system and that there was someone higher than me, yet when anather bloke rang me he said congratulations you have the job, and that i was the only one they were interested in, i rang back an hour after the first time today to find out more and got told that in the testing i did not score high enough for the job i wanted but the other bloke said i dont exceptionally well in all the tests its so weird, and now i cant get in contact weith the guy that told me i had the job, si dissapointed i had my heart set on the job
