Finally fitted my uhf. The worst part was threading the antenna cable through to the inside of the car.

Purchased a replacement top off ebay for the centre of the dash to mount the remote head unit. Hopefully won't get to much for the unit in the direct sunlight.

Where are those pics bert...?

What models of UHF does everyone have? I want to purchase and install one this week. Preferable below switches in centre console.

I run a uniden sundowner one of the cheaper models on the market and have had no problems with it long distance and short distance you cant go wrong with a uniden.

Looks good but I'd put the mic on the other side of the radio.

I'm not real keep on getting shot in the face with a mic propelled by the passenger airbag going off.
