toolangi state forest about an hour and a half north east towards Yea from melbourne.
thats where i do all my driving mostly, on the way to my hunting areas.

fairly busy area, always cars and motos around on weekends.

For the SA guys heading over at Chrissy time to western Vic for some 4 wheeling drive to Ararat then take the Pyrenees highway to Avoca (you have Mt cole/Mt buangor state forests on one side of the highway and the Pyrenees ranges on the other side good driving lots of camping areas, and you have 32 wineries all within a 30 minutes.

6 hr drive from Adelaide to Ararat and a further 40 minute drive to Avoca
