Thanks Blackswan, I intially thought that it was just the error light but noticed that the fuel econ increased a fair bit and the engine would not idle properly on a consistant basis when not in gear (idles about 1000-1200 instead of 750). Did the dealer give you an invoice with costings? If so what did they cost the O2 sensors at?

No invoice, just fixed it, but that was after dropping in at the dealer a few times complaining about the light coming on intermittently. They eventually tracked it down to faulty sensors.

Hi All, just replacing mine at the moment. I have found that if you ask for a universal 4 wire oxygen sensor from aussie auto, autobarn, or repco, you will be fine with a cost of between 85-100 per. I was going to order mine from os but didnt have time to. Im just trying to work out the wiring becuase with the universal sensors you need to splice and crimp the old connector onto the new o2 sensor.

Repco actually had one with the socket, but had to order it so I went for the universal, it is lots of fun getting the wires right, I even had the wiring diagram and stuffed it the first go, couldn't figure out which way I was looking at it. I soldered the joints then put shrink over them.
