Default WG - Front bumper options

Wife had a little mishap this morning with the WG. Nobody was injured, but the front bumper now has a big crack and four inch hole in it.

What are my options for replacing it. Haven't asked the dealership yet for how much would it be. Do ARB make one without the winch option? Any other ideas.

It would be covered by insurance, but if I can upgrade to a better/stronger option, this might be the best time.

ARB =steel ,winch only
genuine Mopar =aluminium ,no winch (dont know about new avail)
ECB=aluminium, no winch
There are also a couple from USA but dont know about legality of them.
I dont know of any steel bars w/out winch.

The aluminum Mopar ones are made by Bocar (www.bocar.com.au) up in Qld - so I have been told. It came as an option as new on mine. Not sure where you would get one these days. Dealership may be able to get a new one, but I'm sure there must be a few used ones around from people upgrading to ARB, etc or from wreckers. Heres a couple of pics of mine. Let me know if you some more

ARB use to do one with out the winch hole....
Or call up your local ARB's and ask them if they fit a bar to a WJ/G limited or what ever model yours is if they can give you the F/bumper all they do is toss them out...

Put an Ad in Wanted section here as well, then get it painted to suit your rig, will cost ya a few Hundred ... pretty cheap and wont effect your no claims bonus..

First thing in the morning was a call to ARB..... Waiting for info back about pricing and availability.

Checked with the dealer, they want around 1250 for the bumper (to come from Singapore in a week after ordering). Labour, painting and fitting would be extra.

It is covered by insurance so not much fuss that way, but if I can upgrade to a stronger option like ARB, why not!!!

Our policy actually will not be impacted by one claim a year (no loss of bonus)!!
