I've got a 4 inch lift and no need for SYE, drop kit anything.. thats why JK's shat all over TJ's

The TJ was the benchmark jeep for many,many years.Don't forget that,but I will agree with you that the JK is alot better

so with a 2" lift do you need and extended panhard link too, so the axle stays in the right spot?

with 2 inchs of lift i wouldnt think it is necessary. I have 4 inch lift and IMHO i found that the rear rather than the front moved more but nothing too serious. I did however eventually put a rear panhard relocation bracket in but have left the front as that hasnt been a concern even at this height so i would think you would be fine

ARB include a panhard rod bracket with their 2" kit. When I was getting some quotes I got the impression that it was a separate part from the rest of the kit and you could probably order one on its own if you needed one.

Thanks Old Mac - i too got the impression it is a separate part from the main kit - i might get it fitted anyway at the same time.

It is a separate part but everyone I priced it off just added it on - i.e. they didn't ask me if I wanted it or not. They effectively recommend that you fit it.
