There is a hell of a lot to be said for the 10% flat tax across the board. All political parties pay it lip service but no-one would have the balls to implement it 'cause they would be out of office at the end of that term. Outlaw political parties and make all the bastards independents I say.

I guess what gives me the shits is everything being blamed on the downturn. Tons of other major Australian brands have shifted overseas during boom times without a mention from anyone, but now every man and his dog is queueing up to have a go at a company that is actually facing a hard time. And god forbid if they spend some money actually promoting their brand at a fashion show...

Maybe, but I think the payrise was more a rubbing itin the sacked workers faces.
These rediculous executive salaries are insane, a guy can run Telstra, leave it in worse shape than it was when he got there and still make millions.

No one is worth millions of dollars a year, I bet any multimillion dollar job could be done by someone earning only a few hundered thousand max.

I think what you are all talking about is called Communism....if it worked as it was intended. But we know it didn't and doesn't.

could not agree more. Imagine how many ordinary workers could be paid for in one top Management salary.
That is no more communist than the closed shops of Boards awarding ridiculous payments to themselves and those close to them

Communism??? isn't that what China is????

China:

Is that the country that is loaning the rest of the world all the money , cause the capitalistic western country's are going broke?

So in 10 or 20 years time does China call in all the loans, which cannot be re payed, so takes over the world? Not bad, not a bullet fired!!!
