i sprayed the covers with black hi-temp engine paint, then used a car touch up pen in red for the logo.
i didnt like the grey colour, look to funny on the diffs.

Not quite today but in the past couple of weeks I have stripped off the bits from the motor, pulled motor and gear box out, replaced the starter motor, put bits back onto engine and fitted engine back into car.

Thumbs up O2 sensors fixed the problem

Hi all

I am just writing to share some information and say thanks for some of the tips I got from other XJ owners on this site.

Recently, my XJ started running rough especially when it reached around 100c on the temp gauge. it had serious flat spots in acceleration.

After learning from some experiences of other owners, I changed the o2 sensors and bingo - purring like a Jeep again.

Thanks again for the tips - saved me alot of money and mucking around.

Always good to hear when things work out well like that. Too often you give advice and dont hear back when it fixed the problem.
