Check my signature... Cost me approx $650AU for shocks and KOR SS shipped from Kolak in the US. The springs i got for about $200, and my rear sway bar is a Selby's unit (they have taken over the Whiteline factory) I got about $250. I also got a custom adj tracbar for $265 plus $80 for new bushes. Did all the work myself.

This question will get a few people talking... Hemi...?

From previous experience with suspension in my other vehicles, it became apparent that there are only a very few 'spring' manufacturer's in Oz. King's being the biggest, caterred for a lot of other brand's outsourcing needs when it came to their springs. When it came time for me to buy springs for my WG, after chats with a few suspension shops I was told that OME, Tough Dog, and Ironman springs come out the King's factory... Now I've quizzed a ARB rep at Perth 4wd show, and he denied this and was adament that OME make their own stuff...

I'm not 100% sure either way, but this is what I've been told, so I'm putting the info out there...

If they are made by the same mob, then I guess the advantage to buying OME is that you can choose from their different spring rates (ie soft, med, hard).

Also i've heard from one person (Hemijeepy) that King springs sag really fast... I cannot vouch for this as I've had mine for about 6 months and my WG sits as tall as it did on day 1. And I've never seen this happen on other vehicles with King springs, but none of them being heavier 4wds either, so time will tell...

Thanks Turismo07.
I have decided to go with OME Springs

What is the best Shock to go for

I heard Rancho shocks are a bit knocky and Australia back up is no GOOD

Are Tough Dog adjustable 40mm shocks the same as the Rancho RS9000X, just rebadged???

Are ProComp MX-6 shocks available in Australia
Do they offer a wireless incab kit

Rancho/tough dog wireless incab kit. Any good???

Are OME shocks the best way to go for non adjustable ??
