The other day the jeep overheated again on a cold day, l pulled over a checked and the fan wasnt turning much at all, so time to replace with a electric one. So today l fitted new water pump (which the old one was fine), electric fan and cleaned the system. Still no good. It was a cold day today and going up a small hill and almost cooked again. And to top it off, when l got home the hand brake broke. I think its time for a new car.

Thumbs up spotties & hid's

Installed hid headlights and spotties on my bumper.
Was a bit of a hassle having to take the bumper off to poke a couple of bolts thru but am pleased with the result.

No i didnt think of that, l do that today.

The funny thing is that it only overheats up hills, when driving around town, stop and go all the time, sits half way.

Default more frontal protection !

while i'm waiting for my new alloy bullbar to fit on the commander i thought i could kill some time by making a set of scrub/brush rails for my cherokee.
not only do they look ok ( i think ) but they will stop me from scraping off the snorkel and front wheel arch flares on trees and rocks etc and they also 'tie in' the bullbar and the rock rails for added strength, less chance of ripping off the bullbar with the winch .
