Get a Merc ML with 4matic, its heaps better than a X5.The diesel,s are killer plus it can be kitted for offroading too. Expensive off road gear though.

Overall its a lot more flexible than a X5 which is basically a one trick pony.

You dont wanna be known as a yummy mummy now..do you

Jeepgirl,

go and see the sales manager - if the sales guy wrote down the price and stuffed up that's his problem not yours.
Also might be worth mentioning that another Jeep driver (me) might not want to do business with them if that's the way they conduct themselves.

I wouldn't like packing the X5 up and taking it bush...to scared to scratch it, let alone sneeze in it. To me it's just a really nice car to drive around town with. I'd hate to hit a skippy in it.

Yummy mummy hey..... better than a not so yummy mummy lol No kiddies here yet but that is also coming into the decision on what car to buy.

SJB> Thanks for that. Brad is off seeing the dealership this morning so we shall wait and see what they have to say I suppose.

Please tell me you are being funny by suggesting Jeepgirl buy a MB ML They make old jeeps look like the most reliable vehicles on the road, which is good. The quality of MB engineering is incredibley poor and you will spend more time driving a hire/loan car than driving your MB.

If you aren't going to get a Hummer get a Beamer or what about a Mazda MX5 Nice and sporty and not a huge gas guzzling Toorak tractor.
