If any one is interested, I have a PAC ROEM-CHR interface adapter to suite after market stereos & Jeep infinity systems. It allows you to use existing vehicle connectors without cutting or splicing the Jeep wires! It's absolutely brand new never used. See attached. PM if interested

Default Question

Just bought myself a new 2011 Cherokee Sport and was advised they no longer offer the GPS,Dvd etc for this model not sure if sales man was just mucking me around or if its true but.

I have been looking at http://www.dhgate.com/6-5-quot-car-d...c35717f89.html

Can anyone tell me if this would fit without much modification as i dont want to have to start chopping and cutting wires etc.

Is the sound quality any good?

And if anyone knows any installers in North Brisbane?

Welcome to the world of Jeep - I'm sure you'll love it. I might suggest though that you search or ask under the Cherokee forum rather than the Grand Cherokee forum. Very different cars, but the Cherokee guys will know if a Grand Cherokee radio as you have linked to will fit your car.

Best of luck.

Hi Wilko_54,

Why would you want to use the CD stacker when you can rip your CDs and put them on a flash disk, a much better option in my view.

If you pull the CD stacker out you get a nice storage compartment.

I'd be very careful with those sites from china...

I've used a few including that one. I've paid for many items and never received them. Spoke to the suppliers and they claim they sent it.

Turns out the tracking number given was bogus and it took me 3 months to get my money back through paypal.

I've bought heaps of gear from China via Ebay and have not had one problem. I always check the customer feedback and don't buy from newly listed Chinese companies either. They must have a good history first before I buy.
I also bought one of these Chinese DVD / Navigation units and it's fantastic except for the terrible instruction booklet written Chianglish. These units have so many more options, windows and extra functions than list on the web site or in the instructions. They're certainly worth the $500.
