Have heard that the Bendlebury ranges has some of the toughest tracks in the Flinders. Can anybody confirm this???
Check out this video http://www.bridgestone.com.au/d694lt/default.aspx for an idea of what's there. When you level the camera angle out then consider that a standard Navara on all terrain tyres drives everywhere then it's fairly obvious there is nothing too hard. We didn't do that particular property on our tour of the Flinders as we were told that the difficult sections were very short & views no better than elsewhere. We drove & can recommend Argadells, Mt Samual & Warraweena which all have short challenging sections worth a look.

Bendelby's are a great place to stay.
Yeah its nothing over the top but some of the tracks are pretty steep and take a bit of skill to negotiate. For new commers its a great area with various difficulty tracks for hard core off roaders its just a nice place to visit with some fun tracks.
But at the end of the day its not super difficult but still fun, with good campsites and accom if you dont want to rough it.

I think Arkaba is the go.Hopefully some of the tracks there will be worth selecting the short stick.
