For a site that states "a new beginning" they sure are doing a good job of emulating AJOR

stealing content and users is pathetic.

but i can't PM them because i don't have access to my account. I suppose i will have to register a new user account so that i can get access to PM's so i can then ask them to give me access to my username which they created/borrowed/took from this forum. I can't email them because i cannot see an email address.

It's all a bit weird, and seems like a lot of work for me to do. I'm a bit annoyed about it because not only have the moderators on that forum created work me to chase up, my posts that i wanted on ausjeep are now part of some M*G*O*C comeback/padfest.

What does M*G*O*C mean anyway?

cheers

Far out,so as well as the similar forum name they also register an identical name to poach legitimate visitors looking for AJOR.

Quite the vendetta they have going...

There's no issue with google as far as i can see, if you search google my posts come up as part of the Ausjeepoffroad.com forum. I want my posts to be associated with ausjeepoffroad.com. I've had a bit of a look at the ausjeepforum.com threads and they're full of foul language and direct insults towards individuals which wouldn't be tolerated on most forums. According to that site i joined in Nov 2000 and i've made 67 posts. If i don't want my name/username and posts/threads to be associated with that site & it's behaviour then it's too bad so sad. I'm apparently a member even if i don't want to be. It's appalling to think they can do that and whether it's legal or not i think it's morally wrong as is registering www.ausjeepoffroad.com.au and www.ausjeepforum.com and directing it to their site. But that's not my problem, that's the owners of this site to deal with. I'm just annoyed about my posts & details.

cheers

I have emailed Scott H to remove any/all of my many posts from his content. Since I can't actually get in there I guess I'll have to register as a phantom username to gain access to see if they actually comply with my demand.

Jimmy is there some line we can preface each new post with to prevent future harvesting? Like: "I have not given permission for this content to be harvested from Ausjeepoffroad.com" that would put the compliance ball back in their court at the time they rip it off?
