Really pi$$ed off at uneek at the moment. had everything booked in for next Friday, i rang today to confirm the appointment and they advised they could not get the bilstein shocks in. he couldn't even give me an eta as they would have to order them from the states. so 6-8 week minimum as shocks have to come over via boat. he offered me OME shocks in stead. what do you guys think should i get the OME shocks ?

At least with OME they can be serviced and replaced anywhere in the country. Bilstein is great but OME is closer

I run OME on my grand for 70,000 km, had one strut fail just before the 40,000 km warranty period expired & they replaced without question. (they now have a 3 year, 60,000km warranty)

All products can fail, it's how the company deals with the claim that makes the difference.

I highly recommend OME/ARB

Well it hasn't been a good day. I agreed to have the ome shocks installed last week only to find out today they can't get the rear shocks in. My install was suppose to be tomorrow absolute joke. Uneek advised there's no stock in the country and that they called arb head office. I found it hard to believe so i decided to track some down myself. After a few crazy hours i managed to get a pair from SA ARB. The guy was really helpful and let me organise my own courier to arrange pick up ( they don't do shipping) if all goes well im re-booked in for Tuesday....hopefully.
Is this normal service from uneek carrum downs melbourne ?
