Hey guys!

So i popped into bob jane and they fitted some 17's to the Jeep. Look absolutely amazing with BF Goodridge tyres. Problem i now face is the tyre is a 265 which rubs the inside of the wheel arch when I turn.

The tech gave me a few options:
1. Lift kit - Don't really want to do this.
2. Smaller tyres which would mess with the speedo by about 5km/h
3. Find stock wheels with a +40 offset which would give enough clearance room.

Now im on the hunt for either basically any wheel that meets 17x8 5 Stud with +40 offset.

It turns out the dealership I purchased the jeep from upgraded the rims to 20's when the original owner purchased them.

Really not sure how to go about it. Would love it if someone says they have some wheels that meet that Criteria they want to sell haha.

Thanks for all the feedback though.

Cheers gents

p.s Photo for reference

Hi mate. Jk wrangler stock 5 spoke wheels are 17x7.5'', and +45mm offset. Not sure if the stud pattern is the same as yours - I recall the jk is 5x127mm (or 5x5'').

Nice tyres but they look a bit aggressive for my driving.
I was told the Ford Territory has the same wheels. That info came from my Bob Jane dealer so it must be right. Right!!!
In the end I went for the 18" because the Toyotas such as Prados use the same tyres and replacements can be found all over the country.

Hey mate! I do like the sound of that actually. The tech suggested 17x8. Will 17x7.5 be that much different?

Also the stud pattern is perfect. 5x127 or 5x5. I've had a bit of a look through the sales forum and hopefully might pull this off!

Default Wheel size problem

Your stud pattern is different to the Wranglers and Grands, but same as the other Cherokees KJ/XJ i think. Edit: 5x4.5 or 5x114.3

food for thought this is the stock 18" plasti-dipped black with 255/60/18 its about .4 inch bigger in overall diameter and is a tad thinner than the 265. Im sure you'd find these and dipping them is an easy home job.
