Any competent mechanic can instal one for you.

I particularly like the Pro Vent 200 (original genuine is much better than cheap knock offs, I purchase cheap first and threw in bin before buying genuine).

Yes, I would clean out the intercooler.

I certainly will do this myself. I am trying to avoid mechanics as much as I can. But thanks for the comments.

Oil in the intercooler like a liter is a serious turbocharger seal or serious blow by problem.
A certain amount is to be considered as a normal an the oil in the blow by has a function:
It lubes and cools the intake valve seat and prevents excessive wear. It was a design element.
If the blow by amount is normal than there is only the excessive oil-soot accumulation you need to get rid off. And thats simply your EGR. Nobody wants that gooey oilsoot mixture in the intake.

As you also remember early engine didn‘t had blow by recirculation. Again this was done due to emissions and preventing oil polluting the environment.
The provent was introduced with stricter emission regulations, burning blow by oil interferes with exhaust filters and is therefore not good anymore.

Thanks for the additional comment. My blow by should be alright. I had my oil cap sitting loosely on top of the oil opening and checked how much it was "dancing" around. I checked again the area and it was still pretty leaky. The oil is black not not clear / red-ish as it should be if it comes from the steering pump / reservoir. So I assume JeanLuke was right and my inter-cooler hoses are leaking. I was able to find some on eBay but pretty expensive (+/- 150 Dollar per hose) and on Rockauto I was not able to find anything. Does anyone have the parts number so can order some new ones please? I have one which is 52079980AB.

Maybe look at the silicone hoses at super cheap and on ebay. The chances of getting the right hose is not good but I have "made up " hoses out of silicone bends and straight hoses coupled together with short steel tube and clamps before(not on a WG though),and it worked OK,but it is a lot of mucking around.
This will not win any awards for "best looking hose", but it might be a solution.
That price of around 150 bucks per hose is pretty high. All this talk of hoses and mine have been perfect for years.....so I will probably blow one any day now too.

This is what was on the car when I got it. Did the job, but I bought what I thought was an original from EBay. The "Original" presses pretty firmly against the power steering hose. Once I see it wearing through a bit, I will just put this bitsa back on.
