If you have an EGT gauge you will see what i am saying. Much over 2,500rpm & it is getting out of its torque band.
Is the radiator clean, both outside & inside?
I fitted a much heavier duty fan clutch. Info in the parts sticky.
if you want to keep it cooler, you could try a larger capacity radiator. IIRC our friend DW has some experience with this.
