Holdens became popular with young male men due to the size of its name.
surely the bigger the name.. the better it is.. or something like that
although HOLDENS dream to be in the shed of every australian mullet wearing vb drinking winnie red smoking flannel wearing dole bludger has been shattered.. its now aiming for a more upmarket consumer..
mainly ones that couldnt handle the sheer exilleration one gets from owning a JEEP

One can only hope! And it better come with a long wheelbase and Turbo Diesel Option! Then I'd buy one.

Opps....sorry to all the 'true blue' Jeepers on here...when I started this thread it was simply to inform on a rumour that I had heard, that is, that GMH have been caught by surprise on the popularity of the Ford Territory.....they simply do not have a competitor, the Adventra is hardly in the same ball park....my thoughts on the Territory are immaterial.....the thing is selling.....so are Falcons, my comment was mainly slanted on the fact that the Territory, like Jeeps, does not originate in an Asian 'sweatshop'.......also, just to throw kero on the campfire, I have a theory that if the manufacturers of Sanssong Musso were to change the name to Holden Jackeroo they would sell thousands....!!

Cairns is a bit far for me to travel to buy a Jeep. Unless you'll shout me a trip!
