The main limiting factor on the unlimited I find is in the rear is the diff housing hitting on the fuel tank, the diff housing will hit the fuel tank guard on full articulation before the axle hits the bump stops , I get great articulation with the sway bar sway bar removed, didnt notice any difference in the handling.

Happens on all RHD JK because of the way the panhard swings the axle.

Default Rear articulation

if you keep your front connected, and disconnect the rear, you can easily get full articulation up and down - even with the other limiting factors.
Do the Johnny joint in the rear assist at all, removing the bind?

(relevant to me, dunno about others) With the length of my shocks there is no bind in the standard arms. The only bind occurring front or rear which limits travel is from the swaybars.

good question. I didnt check if it was on the bump stops on both times, only checked the ramp index measurement.
Mine flexes very well with the sway bar connected

Mate, I think the Swaybar system you're after (by the description) sounds like the teraflex dual rate. Allows you to just twist a knob and go between trail or street. From all accounts, its awesome!
