I have a very similar problem, whenever people are in my car they always ask if i have the heater on because the transmission tunnel gets so damn hot it just radiates heat. If there were an easy way to reduce this i'd be interested

Exhaust wraps will cause manifolds to crack unless there stainless.
Dont know about ceramic , it might work.
If floor is getting excessively hot ,make sure exhaust brackets arent bent causing exh to touch floor or come to close.Ive seen carpets catch fire from this.
If thats all ok & its still too hot ,add some extra insulation under the carpet. You can buy it from most auto parts stores.

Floor of any vehicle which isn't a premium luxobarge will get warm from the mechanical heat after driving a bit.

Is this something related to autos only or are all JKs experiencing this?
