Is there now a bull bar available for the Jeep Commander? I looked through the list of usual suspects, ARB, TJM, Iron Man, Smart Bar, ECB. But none of them list a product for the Jeep Commander!

Those tow points won't comply with Australian Design Rules, they need to be more rounded on all edges. If they fold down like on the Hummers they would be OK. the Cops could pick up on it and give you a big fine.

the pics from the South African site, maybe the tow points are an option. I'd check with Calibrated, he is wolf4x4.com.au maybe removable?

And (if memory serves me well) I think to fit the Maniac bar the crossmember has to be modified to fit the winch which the wouldn't go down well with the ADRs..Think you checked this way back.

I actually have on order with Wolf 4x4 a Maniac rear bar & tyre carrier, and Wolf, in conjunction with Maniac have made these bars (front & rear) compliant with Australian standards.

Whats different with the front bar is the tow points are moved underneath, the winch fairlead is countersunk, and the high lift mount points are changed to T-slots as opposed to round holes.

The rear bar, again the high lift points have been changed to T-slots, trailer plug holes is different to cater for 7 pin flat or 7 pin round, and the big thing with the rear bar that the tow hitch will be approved for towing. So it will be rated to the 3500kgs (& 350kg ball limit) that the vehicles are rated too.

I will be ordering a front bar just before my big trip at the end of the year, so I will have it on in time for Camp Coffs.

And I'll have the rear bar on before the end of November.

I'll post up some pics as it happens
