You can use a Universal Seat Belt Extender Safety Eliminator Alarm Stopper. That will solve the issue.

Plus if you've selected 4WD low it doesn't engage either.

Mine's a diesel and had it done on my 10K service last week. Service manager was so rapt to see a Grand that obviously went off road, he went through the whole Auto Parking feature with me.

He wanted to specifically point out that it didn't engage in 4WD low.

Or undo the seat belt then redo it up with the belt behind you, should work

Waiting to see what the equivalent update for a manual Wrangler looks like. After all, it is a safety issue....
