Can you use one superchip for 2 jeeps TJ@JK or dose it lock in to the first jeep you plug in to and not able use on 2nd jeep

You can only use it for one Jeep at a time... It needs to register the Jeep and the original set up...

It does this by recording the VIN etc from the ECU...

Once restored to stock (like just before service) you may the use it on another Jeep. (not tried this and some have had problems) read the threads provided in this thread.

And REMEMBER

You have to apply the stock settings back to your vehicle before visiting the dealer. Once they connect their computer to ur jeep ur tuner settings will be erased and ur tuner will be locked. You have to send ur tuner back to superchip for unlock. it is very important so keep in mind.

so does restoring the orignal program remove any trace that it was there? Does the ECU not have any logging that would record that something was plugged in/modified, etc?

MATT just checked yep should have put & and not @ any way ordered a superchip today from Tuner Tools in the USA
