Bit of effort going into recycling that one ....

Good job .... beats paying the ludicrous price for a newy at least.

It is a satisfying journey gents - it isn't a daily driver, so no pressure to have it done overnight. It is a good exercise to hone some fabrication and panel beating skills.

Default Fridge slide and a sleepless night

I got this waico fridge slide and I was looking at how I would use it, it would be crazy to have 2 X 40 ltr fridges ro maybe modify to go across the back when I can get rid of the wheel.
I will just move the old girl back in the shed the thermo cam on straight away when I started the engine.
Had a look, turned the control switch, click the engine stopped my heart rate went throught the roof, the F@#$$%$$k$n jeep electrical gremlens have have got me.
The adjustable thermo switch is not water proof and it blew the fuse, not smart on a 4X4.
Does anyone know of a waterfroof one or remote that I can have in the cab and yeh any ideas on how to use this slide?

Check out my Ride(s)
Default

Finally purchased & fitted the correct speedo drive gear (from 35 to 33) to my 96 Limited running 30's.
Now when the speedo reads 60kph the gps indicates 59.6kph instead the previous 65kph.
Got the new gear from here http://www.transmissioncenter.org/sp...e_and_jeep.htm for just under AU$60 delivered in a week & took 5 mins to fit.
