Exactly right Layback, I really don't see that it could cause any problems whatsoever. If people can't look through the sections for 10 seconds to find what they are looking for, I'm not sure we want them on this forum to be honest.

Jimmy - the combined section is what they have on jeepforum.com and it works really well. Like I have said previously, if you need help with the migration, there is plenty of help out there - including yours truly!

Though some people lack "common" sense, most are pretty cluey.

We mustn't misunderestimate people. . (my Dubya quote of the day. )

Obviously you'd need both "Commander" and "Grand Cherokee" in the forum title.

If a new member still finds that confusing it's probably because they didn't realise the Commander and WH are the same; which is all-the-more reason to combine the forums.

Otherwise those people might only look in the Commander-only forum and think that there's noone to help them (considering that looking for help or ideas is probably a primary reason for new members to join in the first-place.).

It's not just a pedantic Jeep enthusiast thing, they're the same vehicle. Every mechanical part and maintenance is the same, almost every after-market part is the same.

Ok well I am going to be offline for a few days, so when I am back online we will look at this.

What I will do is add "WH" to the Commander forum section, and then we will need to go through the existing WH section and move them into this section to combine.

If anyone wishes to help, please add your username here and I will change your profile to allow you to be able to assist in moving the threads.

Excellent thanks Jimmy!

Put my name down to help.
Maybe us temporary helpers can just move all of our own threads across first (to avoid clashing)?

Thanks Jimmy a great idea. I'm looking forward to it as it will benefit all XH & WH owners.
