Absolutely NO PING ON STOCK. So it's not the fuel.

No

But then again; with now over 6 months at the 93 tune and running 98 fuel I have not had any problems...

But I do stay away from Shell and BP it just seems to run better on Gull, Peak or Caltex: don't no why, just does...

PS: jeep had new Exhaust manifold x2, Inlet Mainifold and Timming Belt gaskets replaced about two weeks ago now under warranty...

Only the right bank was leaking due to loose bolts (which I asked them to check at the 60K service; I could here it rattle) they said there was no problem...

Went in for the 72K service and the gasket had gone and I insisted that the fix all since they were pulling it apart anyway...

It was not caused by the Flash... and they said all looked great...

Interesting as I am getting knock in my stock engine... had it on a few occasions on the run from Gnangarra road to Muchea powerstation on Sunday... also had it last ngiht driving west up Hepburn Ave... not bad but it was there... Jeep in Osborne Park checked it yesterday NFF...

BUT I did buy fuel from one of those woolworths outlets... maybe crap fuel then??

Get a bad knock and you can damage your pistons. Personally i am back to stock until it's resolved. Woollies fuel might have something to do with it. What tune were you running?

Seems every post i've read that has ping problems on various forums are all from Australia... Food for thought.
