Interesting feedback.
Mine is sitting on 16.6 with nothing but stop / start driving around town, so I suppose its about right.
Like others, I didn't but the Rubi for its economy (that's what my GC is for) but for its off road capabilities.

Thanks for your replies, Craig

I'm not complaining, the JKU is better on fuel than the TJ was! I typically got ~18L/100 locally in that. And it was in stock trim.

From memory, going to 285/70R17 M/T from 255/75R17 GSA added ~1L/100km or so.

The 31s on my TJ has pretty much made 5th gear useless unless I'm doing around 100kph. I'd hate to guess what I'm getting out of it driving in 4th everywhere. I do know my FPV GT Falcon uses less fuel around town than it.

I have a JK-U 4 door Rubi with 3.5" lift, driving lights, Gobi roof rack with a big light bar and the 4.88:1 diff ratio. Around town it's about 16.5 lph. On the open road it's about 13.5 lph when I have my 31 G/Y Wrangler town tyres on. If i'm very careful on a motorway drive I might get down to 12.7 lph. but that's very rarely achieved.

I've got a JKU rubi with 2.5" lift and 35s and I'm getting between 14-14.5 on open road, typically at 100km/hr
