Hey Terror -

Dont worry - there will be plenty of pictures. most certainly of the install of the NV4500....

The TNT kit comes with its own skid plate. I was going to buy the Nth degree kit in "pieces" but - since they no longer exist... thats hard, no one has any stock.

cheers.

Yeah was thinking the same thing with the Nth degree LA kit. That looked like an awesome setup and who knows when AEV will get their act together.

Excuse my lack of knowledge but whats a NV500 transmission and what are the benifits?

NV4500 is like the bigger brother of the NV3550.

the 4500 is used in alot of the Chevy and Dodge V8 trucks. If you are up for a bit of reading - here are a couple of good web pages for you;

http://www.nv4500.com/
http://www.high-impact.net/transmiss...ear/nv4500.htm

My NV3550 is cactus - rather than getting it rebuilt im putting in this which is about the same length, size etc - but is alot beefier than the NV3550.

looking tops wallace, you'll be impressed with the baja claws.. for such an aggressive tread pattern they're reasonably quiet on road.

we'll be going to 35" claws too when our current set wear out

Well - my stuff arrived...

I was too excited... i didnt take photo's of the installation as i was pushed for time - but i fitted my rear TBT bar.

It was dark by the time i was done - so i will take some photos tomorrow (still got a few things to finish off)...

Tomorrow evening the bestop will be going on as well... then - just have the wait till the rest of the gear arrives
