I think the trepadores might drag me away from the buckshot mudder next time just not sure about their on road noise. I have had plenty of experience with the buckshot mudders so it will be hard for me to change.

Wooders, it is interesting to hear you say that rotation or lack there of is the cause of road noise.

I have Hankook RT03, quite good on wet bitumen (driven sensibly) with the detroit locker can make the fronts push into roundabouts or step back out, but approached at sensible speeds all is fine, stop quite well on wet bitumen which was one of the main things i was looking for as the XJ is my wife's daily driver.

They were very quite initially, but now with 10,000ks they do hum a fair bit, have not driven with others so can't compare.

Would have gone MTZ except the smallest they have is 31" and that wont fit in the standard spare position in the XJ, so i only wanted 30's keen on the BFG KM2 next time if they are quite, will be interested to hear how they go with some 10-15,000 kilometers on them.

And i agree, it is good to get up to date opinions on mud tyres as more and more use them for daily driving duties over ATs things like wet tar performance and off road ability are very important
