Great thanks.
From what I've read so far the problem is with the Bluetooth protocol that most (if not all) of the ELM337 units use. Apple says NO.
There are wifi units that apparently work with Apple products. I'm still looking into those.
But yes, Torque does seem to be one the most popular apps.

I've had a look over the fuel lines and no leaks.
The air intake sensor was fine, I haven't pulled the exhaust sensors yet. The driver's side looks easy enough to get to, but I have no idea how to pull the sensors on the passagers side exhaust, it's bloody tight in there.

Are you sure that your trip meter hasn't changed over into miles?
260mi x 1.6 = 416km which is a lot closer to the mark.

My 3.8 rubicon was getting just over 400km per tank.

Default Scangauge and fuel usage

It'd be great if that is what's happened.
Any ideas on how to change it?

The trip meter doesn't change when I go from Metric to US on the menu.

The tyre pressures, distance to empty, etc all change on the left hand side cluster.
But the trip meter reads the same regardless.

Is it running rough, check engine light on anything to suggest there is a problem?
On my MY07 you couldn't change any of those settings. On my MY14 you can adjust the settings you have mentioned but I haven't really played around with it yet. Might pay to check your manual for more info.

No, there's no signs of any issues.

Runs smooth, no warning lights, according to the dash computer 'system OK'.
Just got the misses to give it a rev while I checked over it.
No miss, no splutter, no smell of fuel in the exhaust.
Idles smooth, revs up nicely and idles back down quickly.

It's got me stumped.
At this point in time the trip computer reading wrong would probably make the most sense.

My GPS is a pain in the ass to set up and log my own km per tank (you have to manually do it for every trip) if I wanted use it to compare with the in dash trip meter.

I'll just have to find an OBD2 scan tool that works with iPhones sooner rather than later.

EngineLink HD app works on iPhone with the Lelink Bluetooth obd2. It is also compatitable with torque custom PIDs.

Just had a read in the owners manual.
Page 186 EVIC Units selection-
Displays the units used for the outside temp, average fuel economy and distance to empty features.
