Stock viscous fan 4600cfm.
Electric around 2000 to 2500. wasn't a good idea to choose an electric fan which disturbs the electric (AC) fan.
Switching is ok. ECM controls the fan via coolant sensor.
110° is way to hot. Something does not work properly. I'm running with 160hp highest temp is 100° at full load in the summer. Opening should be at 82° Check the themostat
check the pump- diameter. Should be 76mm. Most I have seen Are 72mm thats a problem.

Thanks. Will have to check the thermostat. The AC is no longer working the AC fan is working together with the 16" fan installed in the shroud. The water pump was replaced by the previous owner. Must be the Thermostat Then.

DEEZALWEAZEL. I have refitted the stock viscous fan. Immediately the jeep ran cooler and kept the temperature in tact. However on long climbs on hot days the temp gauge still jumps to the line just past the 100' mark. on slow speed and high speeds
I am thinking next item to check would be the thermostat?
Pump was replaced when engine was redone a year ago.
running 50/50 coolant and water.

I have noticed that when towing up steep hills if you let it labor away at just under 2.000rpm it will get much hotter than if you change back a gear & let it rev up around 2,500rpm (same speed). I guess it generates much more heat when working hard at lower revs.

If you have an EGT gauge you will see what i am saying. Much over 2,500rpm & it is getting out of its torque band.
Is the radiator clean, both outside & inside?
I fitted a much heavier duty fan clutch. Info in the parts sticky.
if you want to keep it cooler, you could try a larger capacity radiator. IIRC our friend DW has some experience with this.
Your location would be useful.
