is the dpf regeneration anything like the cat regeneration? if so the least thing i'd want is a dealer performing that nasty little process on my vehicle. there are sensors involved with the dpf. given that it's a brand new vehicle and a brand new dpf, 400 kms is not going to stuff the dpf. my bet is that it's a sensor problem or a problem in the dpf sensor circuit that's causing the problem. as for doing a regeneration of a brand new dpf...that's just crap.

Default pdf filter

if the filter is blocked it's more than likely crap fuel,as you do get at non metro service stations, theese engines are most probably upto euro step 5. If it were my brand new cdr I would be running bp high grade fuel or low sulpher,no bio deisel or cheap crap.hey but it's not my cdr. a few cents a liter extra to cover your machine, check your hand book because non recomended fuels being used in your machine will void engine warranty.

Soooo - nothing has changed.

I'll never buy another Jeep again - they are just too unreliable.

Hope it all gets fixed quickly and easily for you - but not what you want from a brand new car!!!

hope you get it sorted soon and glad you got good back up service.

They are a good rig and lots of fun so dont be discouraged. Unlike Jkohn i would buy again which would then make it 3.

Good luck!

The only reason I went to liberty was that they were the only station I could find at the time. It was not on price at all, it was availability when the fuel gauge was showing low. If I go bush and end up in Rabbit Flat or Lyndhurst or Outer Mongolia, then I should be able to buy fuel that works in my Jeep. Be buggered about warranty or anything else, I am buying diesel fuel from an approved outlet and I expect it to work in my Jeep. If some diesel works and some doesn't when purchased from Australian outlets then I am going to be royally pissed off.

This is not a Porsche or lexus - its just a bloody Jeep
